I joined the staff at Shermont in June of 2011 as minister of music. What a wonderful blessing it has been and I thank God for this opportunity. God also blessed me with the priviledge of directing several other choirs over the years including a traveling youth choir and a community choir called New Song that continues today. In 1987 I taught music at Woodlawn Christian Academy and gave private piano lessons. I love music and I love the Lord! So thankful for His gift of music!
In 1979 I married my sweet husband, James, and we have two beautiful daughters, five beautiful granddaughters and two handsome great grandsons. God also blessed us with a son from another mother, and that gift has bloomed and brought us another granddaughter, two grandsons and another great grandson. God is good! I love the scripture from Proverbs that says “Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path! Amen! He has directed my path!
